How do we use this product?
Great for paksiw, pata tim, hamonado, estofado, kare-kare and more.
Paksiw na Pata-- pork hock cooked in vinegar and soy sauce . Soy sauce is added to bring additional flavor and color. A bit of sugar and banana blossoms are also incorporated into the dish.
Hamonado-- a type of Filipino cooking where meat is marinated or cooked with pineapple. Fatty cuts of pork, chicken or beef are first seared in hot oil until lightly browned and then braised in pineapple juice along with soy sauce, brown sugar, and aromatics such as onions, garlic, and peppercorns to round off flavors.
